ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने

yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune

യയാതി പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ ഭഗവൻ! ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! പണ്ട് അഗ്നിദേവൻ എന്ത് കാരണത്താലാണ് അപ്രത്യക്ഷനായത്? അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെത്തന്നെ വീണ്ടും എങ്ങനെ ലഭിച്ചു? ഹേ മഹാമുനേ, എനിക്ക് ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ വലിയ കൗതുകമുണ്ട്.
