दूत उवाच । या सा सर्वगता देवी शक्तिरूपा शुचि स्मिता । श्रीमाता जगतां माता देवैराराधिता परा । तेषां तुष्टा च देवी त्वामिदं वचनमब्रवीत्
dūta uvāca | yā sā sarvagatā devī śaktirūpā śuci smitā | śrīmātā jagatāṃ mātā devairārādhitā parā | teṣāṃ tuṣṭā ca devī tvāmidaṃ vacanamabravīt
ദൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സർവ്വഗതയായ ദേവി, ശക്തിസ്വരൂപിണി, ശുചിയും മൃദുസ്മിതയുമാകുന്നവൾ; ശ്രീമാതാ, ജഗന്മാതാ, ദേവന്മാർ ആരാധിക്കുന്ന പരാശക്തി—അവർ സന്തുഷ്ടയായി നിന്നോടു ഈ വചനം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
