पूर्वं जाता महाराज धूममूर्तिर्भयावहा । ततो ज्वाला ततः कन्या शुक्लवासोऽनुलेपना । दृष्ट्वा तां तुष्टुवुर्देवाः कृतांजलिपुटास्ततः
pūrvaṃ jātā mahārāja dhūmamūrtirbhayāvahā | tato jvālā tataḥ kanyā śuklavāso'nulepanā | dṛṣṭvā tāṃ tuṣṭuvurdevāḥ kṛtāṃjalipuṭāstataḥ
ആദ്യം, ഹേ മഹാരാജാവേ, അവൾ ഭയാവഹമായ ധൂമമൂർത്തിയായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു; പിന്നെ ജ്വാലാരൂപമായി; തുടർന്ന് ശ്വേതവസ്ത്രധാരിണിയായി, അനുലേപനത്തോടെ അലങ്കരിച്ച കന്യാരൂപമായി. അവളെ കണ്ട ദേവന്മാർ കയ്യുകൂപ്പി സ്തുതിച്ചു।
