वसिष्ठ उवाच । ममाश्रमस्य सांनिध्ये श्वभ्रमस्ति सुदारुणम् । अगाधं नन्दिनी तत्र पतिता धेनुरुत्तमा
vasiṣṭha uvāca | mamāśramasya sāṃnidhye śvabhramasti sudāruṇam | agādhaṃ nandinī tatra patitā dhenuruttamā
വസിഷ്ഠൻ പറഞ്ഞു— എന്റെ ആശ്രമത്തിനടുത്ത് അത്യന്തം ഭീകരമായ ഒരു ഗർത്തമുണ്ട്. ആ അഗാധ കുഴിയിൽ ഉത്തമധേനുവായ നന്ദിനി വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
