jātamātreṇa bālena mayā pādau nirīkṣitau | tātasya sahasā dagdhau tato'haṃ vāritoṃ'bayā

Translation

ഞാൻ പുതുതായി ജനിച്ച ബാലനായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പിതാവിന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ നോക്കി; അവ ഉടൻ ദഗ്ധമായി, പിന്നെ അമ്മ എന്നെ തടഞ്ഞു.
