अनावृष्ट्या महेन्द्रस्य संजातश्चौषधीक्षयः । ततोऽस्म्यहं श्वमांसेन विश्वामित्रेण योजितः

Transliteration

anāvṛṣṭyā mahendrasya saṃjātaścauṣadhīkṣayaḥ | tato'smyahaṃ śvamāṃsena viśvāmitreṇa yojitaḥ

Translation

മഹേന്ദ്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) മഴ പെയ്യിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ ഔഷധികളും സസ്യങ്ങളും ക്ഷയിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ എന്നെ നിർബന്ധിച്ച് ശ്വമാംസം ഭക്ഷിക്കാൻ നിയോഗിച്ചു.
