एतस्मात्कारणात्सोमः सर्वेषामधिकः स्मृतः । देवानां दानवानां च स हि पूज्यतमः स्मृतः
etasmātkāraṇātsomaḥ sarveṣāmadhikaḥ smṛtaḥ | devānāṃ dānavānāṃ ca sa hi pūjyatamaḥ smṛtaḥ
ഈ കാരണത്താൽ സോമൻ എല്ലാവരിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായി സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ദേവന്മാരിലും ദാനവന്മാരിലും അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ഏറ്റവും പൂജ്യനെന്ന് കരുതപ്പെടുന്നത്.
