Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 8
अथ ते यादवाः सर्वे कृतशान्तिकपौष्टिकाः । स्वस्तिस्वस्तीति संत्रस्ताः प्रोचुर्भूयात्कुलेऽत्र नः
atha te yādavāḥ sarve kṛtaśāntikapauṣṭikāḥ | svastisvastīti saṃtrastāḥ procurbhūyātkule'tra naḥ
അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ യാദവരും ശാന്തി-പൗഷ്ടിക കർമങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു, ഭീതിയോടെ ‘സ്വസ്തി സ്വസ്തി’ എന്നു ഉച്ചരിച്ചു; “ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഈ വംശത്തിൽ ക്ഷേമം തന്നെ ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
