यावन्नाग्निद्विजातीनां प्रत्यक्षं गुरुसंनिधौ । ससंकल्पं स्वयं दत्ता गृह्योक्तविधिना जनैः

Transliteration

yāvannāgnidvijātīnāṃ pratyakṣaṃ gurusaṃnidhau | sasaṃkalpaṃ svayaṃ dattā gṛhyoktavidhinā janaiḥ

Translation

പവിത്ര അഗ്നിയും ദ്വിജന്മാരും സാക്ഷികളായി നിലകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, ഗുരുസന്നിധിയിൽ തന്നെ, ജനങ്ങൾ സ്വയം സംकल्पത്തോടെ—ഗൃഹ്യവിധിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞ പ്രകാരം—ആ ദാനം നൽകി।
