तस्यैवं वध्यमानस्य जमदग्नेर्महात्मनः । रेणुकाख्या प्रिया भार्या पपातोपरि दुःखिता
tasyaivaṃ vadhyamānasya jamadagnermahātmanaḥ | reṇukākhyā priyā bhāryā papātopari duḥkhitā
ഇപ്രകാരം മഹാത്മാവായ ജമദഗ്നി വധിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, രേണുക എന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രിയ പത്നി ദുഃഖിതയായി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മേൽ വീണു.
