ततस्ते सेवकास्तस्य नृपतेश्चित्तवेदिनः । अप्राप्तशस्त्रं तं विप्रं निजघ्नुर्निशितायुधैः
tataste sevakāstasya nṛpateścittavedinaḥ | aprāptaśastraṃ taṃ vipraṃ nijaghnurniśitāyudhaiḥ
അപ്പോൾ രാജാവിന്റെ ഹിതം അറിഞ്ഞ സേവകർ, ആയുധം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് തന്നെ ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണനെ മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ആയുധങ്ങളാൽ വധിച്ചു.
