jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

Translation

ജമദഗ്നി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ, ഇതെൻ ഹോമധേനുവാണ്; പ്രാണസമമായി എനിക്കു പ്രിയമായ ഏക നിധി. ഇത് ഒരിക്കലും ദാനമായി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതല്ല, സദാ പൂജ്യമാണ്; അതിനാൽ നീ ഇതിനെ ചോദിക്കരുത്।
