പിന്നീട് ഭോജനം അവസാനിച്ചപ്പോൾ, വിസ്മയത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിയ രാജാവ് ആ ധേനുവിനെക്കുറിച്ച് മഹാമുനി ജമദഗ്നിയോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു।
