दक्ष उवाच । मया धर्म्यमपि प्रोक्तो वाक्यमेष कुबुद्धिमान् । नाकरोन्मे पुरः प्रोच्य करिष्यामीत्य सत्यवाक्
dakṣa uvāca | mayā dharmyamapi prokto vākyameṣa kubuddhimān | nākaronme puraḥ procya kariṣyāmītya satyavāk
ദക്ഷൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഞാനും അവനോട് ധർമ്മ്യമായ വചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു; എങ്കിലും ആ കുബുദ്ധി അതു അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചില്ല. എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ‘ഞാൻ ചെയ്യും’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും, പിന്നെ വാക്ക് തെറ്റിച്ച് അസത്യനായി തീർന്നു।
