dugdhakuṃdendusaṃkāśaṃ saṃjātaṃ sahasā vṛṣam | tasyopari sthitāṃ devīṃ śaṃbhunā saha pārvatīm

അപ്പോൾ പാൽ, കുന്ദപുഷ്പം, ചന്ദ്രൻ എന്നിവപോലെ ശുഭ്രമായി പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വൃഷഭം അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു; അതിന്റെ മേൽ ശംഭുവിനോടുകൂടെ ദേവി പാർവതി നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
