चक्रे तावन्नभोवाणी वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह । भीष्मभीष्म महाबाहो नार्हस्त्वं श्राद्धजं विधिम्
cakre tāvannabhovāṇī vākyametaduvāca ha | bhīṣmabhīṣma mahābāho nārhastvaṃ śrāddhajaṃ vidhim
അപ്പോൾ ഒരു അശരീരി ഉണ്ടായി ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു: "ഹേ മഹാബാഹുവായ ഭീഷ്മാ! ഭീഷ്മാ! നീ ശ്രാദ്ധവിധി അനുഷ്ഠിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യനല്ല."
