कूरबुद्धिरथो वीक्ष्य तदर्थं चामिषं शुभम् । सुसंस्कृतं विधानेन सूपकारैर्द्विजोत्तमाः

kūrabuddhiratho vīkṣya tadarthaṃ cāmiṣaṃ śubham | susaṃskṛtaṃ vidhānena sūpakārairdvijottamāḥ

അനന്തരം ആ മന്ദബുദ്ധി ആ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിനായി ഒരുക്കിയ ശുഭമാംസം കണ്ടു—വിധിപ്രകാരം നിപുണ പാചകരാൽ നന്നായി സംസ്കരിച്ച് പാകം ചെയ്തതു—ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ, അവൻ തന്റെ കുതന്ത്രം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
