सूत उवाच । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय वसिष्ठो मुनिसत्तमः । क्षालितांघ्रिः स्वयं तेन निविष्टो भोजनाय वै
sūta uvāca | sa tatheti pratijñāya vasiṣṭho munisattamaḥ | kṣālitāṃghriḥ svayaṃ tena niviṣṭo bhojanāya vai
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—‘തഥാസ്തു’ എന്നു പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ വസിഷ്ഠൻ സമ്മതിച്ചു. രാജാവ് സ്വയം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ കഴുകി; പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം ഭോജനാർത്ഥം ഇരുന്നു.
