तस्यां यः कुरुते स्नानं मासि वै फाल्गुने नरः । सोपवासः सिताष्टम्यां वांछितं लभते च सः
tasyāṃ yaḥ kurute snānaṃ māsi vai phālgune naraḥ | sopavāsaḥ sitāṣṭamyāṃ vāṃchitaṃ labhate ca saḥ
ഫാൽഗുണ മാസത്തിൽ ആ കിണറ്റിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ശുക്ല അഷ്ടമിയിൽ ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവൻ ഇഷ്ടവരം പ്രാപിക്കും।

When devotion is paired with disciplined observance (snāna and upavāsa) at a tīrtha, one’s rightful aims are fulfilled through dharma.
The sin-destroying vāpī near Agastya-kuṇḍa described in the preceding verse.
Bathed in the vāpī during Phālguna and observe a fast on śuklāṣṭamī (bright 8th lunar day) for fulfillment of wishes.
