तस्माद्यत्किञ्चिदन्नं ते सिद्धमस्ति गृहे नृप । तद्देहि भोजनार्थं मे बुभुक्षातीव वर्धते
tasmādyatkiñcidannaṃ te siddhamasti gṛhe nṛpa | taddehi bhojanārthaṃ me bubhukṣātīva vardhate
അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ രാജാവേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ തയ്യാറായിരിക്കുന്ന പാകം ചെയ്ത അന്നം എന്തുണ്ടോ അത് എനിക്ക് ഭോജനാർത്ഥം തരുക; എന്റെ വിശപ്പ് അത്യന്തമായി വർധിക്കുന്നു।
