tava saṃlapsyate putro yathoktaḥ śūlapāṇinā | paraṃ tanmṛtyujaṃ duḥkhaṃ tvaṃ śiśutvepi lapsyase

Translation

ശൂലപാണി (ശിവൻ) പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിനക്ക് പുത്രൻ നിശ്ചയം ഉണ്ടാകും; എന്നാൽ മരണജന്യമായ അതിതീവ്ര ദുഃഖം അവൻ ശിശുവായിരിക്കുമ്പോഴേ നീ അനുഭവിക്കും।
