ततः कृच्छ्रेण महता कर्षितः सलिलाद्बहिः । सेवकैर्दुःखशोकार्त्तैर्हाहेति प्रतिजल्पकैः

tataḥ kṛcchreṇa mahatā karṣitaḥ salilādbahiḥ | sevakairduḥkhaśokārttairhāheti pratijalpakaiḥ

അപ്പോൾ മഹാ പ്രയാസത്തോടെ അവനെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തേക്ക് വലിച്ചെടുത്തു; ദുഃഖ‑ശോകത്തിൽ ആർത്തരായ സേവകർ “ഹായ്! ഹായ്!” എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു।
