veṣṭayāmāsa bhogena niścalasya mahātmanaḥ | etasminnaṃtare śiṣyastasyāsītsutapo'nvitaḥ

ആ സർപ്പം നിശ്ചലനായ മഹാത്മാവിനെ തന്റെ കുണ്ഡലികളാൽ ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ചു. ഇതിനിടയിൽ, സുതപസ്സാൽ സമന്വിതനായ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യൻ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
