एवमुक्त्वा स चामंत्र्य मंत्रैराथर्वणैर्जलम् । पानाय प्रददौ तस्मै वांत्यर्थं सद्विजोत्तमः
evamuktvā sa cāmaṃtrya maṃtrairātharvaṇairjalam | pānāya pradadau tasmai vāṃtyarthaṃ sadvijottamaḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദ്വിജൻ അഥർവണ മന്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ ജലം അഭിമന്ത്രിച്ച്, ഛർദ്ദി വരുത്തുന്നതിനായി അവനു കുടിക്കുവാൻ നൽകി.
