जना ऊचुः । सप्तकल्पस्मरो नाम मार्कंडेयो महामुनिः । श्रूयते नैमिषारण्ये तं गत्वा पृच्छ वेत्स्यसि
janā ūcuḥ | saptakalpasmaro nāma mārkaṃḍeyo mahāmuniḥ | śrūyate naimiṣāraṇye taṃ gatvā pṛccha vetsyasi
ജനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു—‘സപ്തകൽപസ്മര’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായ മഹാമുനി മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ നൈമിഷാരണ്യത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു। അവിടേക്ക് ചെന്നു ചോദിക്ക; അപ്പോൾ നീ അറിയും।
