नित्यं पराजयो जज्ञे देवानां दानवैः सह । तत्रोवाच गुरुः शक्र मा युद्धं कुरु देवप
nityaṃ parājayo jajñe devānāṃ dānavaiḥ saha | tatrovāca guruḥ śakra mā yuddhaṃ kuru devapa
ദാനവന്മാരോടുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിൽ ദേവന്മാർക്ക് നിരന്തരം പരാജയം സംഭവിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ ഗുരു ശക്രനോട് പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ ദേവപതേ, യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യരുത്.”
