पार्वत्युवाच । तज्ज्ञानममलं देहि येन नावर्त्तनं भवेत् । इत्युक्तः स महाविष्णुः प्रत्युवाच हरप्रियाम्
pārvatyuvāca | tajjñānamamalaṃ dehi yena nāvarttanaṃ bhavet | ityuktaḥ sa mahāviṣṇuḥ pratyuvāca harapriyām
പാർവതി പറഞ്ഞു—“പുനരാവർത്തനം (പുനർജന്മം) ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ കാരണമാകുന്ന ആ നിർമലജ്ഞാനം എനിക്ക് ദാനം ചെയ്യുക।” ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മഹാവിഷ്ണു ഹരപ്രിയയോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു।
