Transliteration

yaḥ śṛṇoti naro bhaktyā vācyamānāmimāṃ kathām | girīśanṛtyasaṃbandhāmumādehārddhavarṇitām

ഭക്തിയോടെ പാരായണം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ കഥ ശ്രവിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ—ഗിരീശൻ (ശിവൻ) നൃത്തവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതും, ഉമ ദേഹാർദ്ധമായി വർണിക്കുന്നതുമായ—പുണ്യഭാഗ്യൻ ആകുന്നു।
