agnityāgo vratatyāgo vacanatyāga eva ca | dharmatyāgo naiva kāryaḥ kurvanpatita eva hi

അഗ്നി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കലും, വ്രതം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കലും, വാക്ക് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കലും സംഭവിച്ചാലും, ധർമ്മം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുത്; ധർമ്മം ത്യജിക്കുന്നവൻ തീർച്ചയായും പതിതനാകുന്നു.
