करणं पंचयज्ञानां सततं तप एव हि । तन्निवेद्य हरौ चैव चातुर्मास्ये महत्तपः
karaṇaṃ paṃcayajñānāṃ satataṃ tapa eva hi | tannivedya harau caiva cāturmāsye mahattapaḥ
പഞ്ചയജ്ഞങ്ങളെ നിരന്തരം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നത് തീർച്ചയായും തപസ്സാണ്; അവയുടെ ഫലം ഹരിക്കു നിവേദിക്കുക—പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചാതുര്മാസ്യത്തിൽ—മഹത്തപസ്സെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.
