जंबूद्वीपस्य संज्ञेयं फलेन च विजायते । मन्त्रेणानेन विप्रेंद्र श्रद्धाधर्मसुसंयतैः
jaṃbūdvīpasya saṃjñeyaṃ phalena ca vijāyate | mantreṇānena vipreṃdra śraddhādharmasusaṃyataiḥ
ഈ ജംബൂഫലത്തിലൂടെയാണ് ‘ജംബൂദ്വീപം’ എന്ന നാമത്തിന്റെ അർത്ഥം ഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടത്; അതു ആ ഫലത്തിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ ജനിച്ചതുപോലെ. ഹേ വിപ്രേന്ദ്രാ, ശ്രദ്ധയും ധർമ്മവും പാലിക്കുന്ന സംയമികൾ ഈ മന്ത്രത്തോടെ ഇത് ചെയ്യണം।
