kṛtvā bhavati yajñānyatkṛtakṛtyatvamatra tat | syāttasya tatpūrvajānāṃ yena jñātamidaṃ padam
ഇത് നിർവഹിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ‘കൃതകൃത്യൻ’ ആകുന്നു; മറ്റ് യജ്ഞങ്ങളും ഇതിലൂടെ തന്നെ സിദ്ധിച്ചതുപോലെ. ഈ പരമപദം അറിഞ്ഞവന്റെ പൂർവ്വജനങ്ങൾക്കും നന്മ ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
