नारद उवाच । देवदेव महाभाग व्रतानि सुबहून्यपि । श्रुतानि त्वन्मुखाद्ब्रह्मन्न तृप्तिमधिगच्छति
nārada uvāca | devadeva mahābhāga vratāni subahūnyapi | śrutāni tvanmukhādbrahmanna tṛptimadhigacchati
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദേവദേവാ! ഹേ മഹാഭാഗ ബ്രഹ്മനേ! നിന്റെ മുഖത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അനേകം വ്രതങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിച്ചിട്ടും എന്റെ മനസ്സിന് തൃപ്തി ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല.
