यश्चैतच्छृणुयान्नित्यं पठेद्वापि समाहितः । चातुर्मासी कृतात्पापात्सोऽपि मुक्तिमवाप्नुयात्

yaścaitacchṛṇuyānnityaṃ paṭhedvāpi samāhitaḥ | cāturmāsī kṛtātpāpātso'pi muktimavāpnuyāt

ആർ നിത്യം ഇതു ശ്രവിക്കുകയോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഏകാഗ്രചിത്തത്തോടെ പാരായണം ചെയ്യുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നു, അവൻ ചാതുര്മാസ്യകാലത്ത് ചെയ്ത പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുപോലും വിമുക്തനായി മോക്ഷം പ്രാപിക്കും।
