अथ तान्मानुषीभूतान्पप्रच्छुर्लुब्धका मृगान् । मृगयूथं समायातं मार्गेणानेन सांप्रतम् । केन मार्गेण निर्यातं तस्माद्वदत मा चिरम्
atha tānmānuṣībhūtānpapracchurlubdhakā mṛgān | mṛgayūthaṃ samāyātaṃ mārgeṇānena sāṃpratam | kena mārgeṇa niryātaṃ tasmādvadata mā ciram
അപ്പോൾ വേട്ടക്കാർ മനുഷ്യരായ ആ മാൻമാരോട് ചോദിച്ചു—“ഇപ്പോഴേ ഈ വഴിയിലൂടെ ഒരു മാൻകൂട്ടം വന്നു; അത് ഏത് പാതയിലൂടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു? അതുകൊണ്ട് ഉടൻ പറയൂ, വൈകിക്കരുത്।”
