saṃprāptāḥ paramāṃ prītiṃ tato dvāśavārṣikīm | etasmātkāraṇācchrāddhaṃ prakaromi dvijottamāḥ

അപ്പോൾ അവർ പന്ത്രണ്ടു വർഷം നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന പരമ സന്തോഷം പ്രാപിച്ചു. ഈ കാരണത്താലാണ്, ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ ശ്രാദ്ധം നടത്തുന്നത്.
