तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तेषां ब्राह्मणानां महात्मनाम् । स वैलक्ष्यस्मितं प्राह सलज्जं पृथिवीपतिः
tacchrutvā vacanaṃ teṣāṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ mahātmanām | sa vailakṣyasmitaṃ prāha salajjaṃ pṛthivīpatiḥ
ആ മഹാത്മ ബ്രാഹ്മണരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, ഭൂമിപതി ലജ്ജയിൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ടു, സംകോചമിശ്രിതമായ പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു।
