दितिरुवाच । यस्मात्सत्यं त्वया प्रोक्तं पुरतो मम देवप । तस्मात्प्रार्थय मत्तस्त्वं वरं यन्मनसेप्सि तम्
ditiruvāca | yasmātsatyaṃ tvayā proktaṃ purato mama devapa | tasmātprārthaya mattastvaṃ varaṃ yanmanasepsi tam
ദിതി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദേവപ! നീ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സത്യം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ എന്നിൽ നിന്നൊരു വരം അപേക്ഷിക്കൂ—നിന്റെ മനസ്സിന് ഇഷ്ടമായതു തന്നെ.
