जांबवत्युवाच । रक्षतु त्वां वने वत्स सर्वास्ता वनदेवताः । श्वापदेभ्यः पिशाचेभ्यो दुष्टेभ्यः पुत्र सर्वतः
jāṃbavatyuvāca | rakṣatu tvāṃ vane vatsa sarvāstā vanadevatāḥ | śvāpadebhyaḥ piśācebhyo duṣṭebhyaḥ putra sarvataḥ
ജാംബവതി പറഞ്ഞു—വത്സാ, വനത്തിൽ ആ എല്ലാ വനദേവതകളും നിന്നെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ. മകനേ, എല്ലാദിക്കുകളിലും വന്യമൃഗങ്ങൾ, പിശാചുകൾ, ദുഷ്ടശക്തികൾ എന്നിവയിൽ നിന്ന് നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ.
