भूयोभूयः परिष्वज्य सभार्यः पृष्टवांस्तदा । क्व गतः स्वाश्रमाद्वत्स चिरात्कस्मादिहाऽगतः
bhūyobhūyaḥ pariṣvajya sabhāryaḥ pṛṣṭavāṃstadā | kva gataḥ svāśramādvatsa cirātkasmādihā'gataḥ
വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത്, ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ അവൻ ചോദിച്ചു—“വത്സാ! നീ നമ്മുടെ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ നിന്ന് എവിടെ പോയിരുന്നു? ഇത്ര നാളിന് ശേഷം ഇവിടെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് വന്നു?”
