viśvāmitra uvāca | etaduktvā sahasrākṣastataścāṣṭakulāndvijān | agrataḥ kopasaṃyuktastatovacanamabravīt

Translation

വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം സഹസ്രാക്ഷൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞു. അഷ്ടകുലജന്യ ബ്രാഹ്മണരെ തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വിളിച്ചു നിർത്തി, പിന്നെ ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു.
