राम उवाच । स्थितेऽस्मिन्मुनिशार्दूले समीपे वत्स लक्ष्मण । अनर्हा निष्कृतिः कर्तुं तस्मादेनं प्रयाचय
rāma uvāca | sthite'sminmuniśārdūle samīpe vatsa lakṣmaṇa | anarhā niṣkṛtiḥ kartuṃ tasmādenaṃ prayācaya
രാമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വത്സ ലക്ഷ്മണാ, ഈ മുനിശാർദൂലൻ സമീപത്തു നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ നാം സ്വയം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നത് യുക്തമല്ല; അതിനാൽ വിനയത്തോടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കൂ.
