पर्वतानां यथा मेरुर्द्विपदानां द्विजोत्तमः । स्थानजानां तु विप्राणां श्रेष्ठोऽष्टकुलिकस्तथा
parvatānāṃ yathā merurdvipadānāṃ dvijottamaḥ | sthānajānāṃ tu viprāṇāṃ śreṣṭho'ṣṭakulikastathā
പർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽ മേരു സർവ്വോത്തമവും, ദ്വിപാദികളിൽ ദ്വിജോത്തമൻ സർവ്വോന്നതനും ആകുന്നതുപോലെ, ആ സ്ഥലത്ത് ജനിച്ച വിപ്രന്മാരിൽ അഷ്ടകുലികനും ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ തന്നേ।
