श्राद्धं करोति मूढात्मा विहीनं स्थानजैर्द्विजैः । स्थानजैरपि वाऽशुद्धैस्तस्य तद्व्यर्थतां व्रजेत्
śrāddhaṃ karoti mūḍhātmā vihīnaṃ sthānajairdvijaiḥ | sthānajairapi vā'śuddhaistasya tadvyarthatāṃ vrajet
മൂഢൻ സ്ഥലജ ദ്വിജന്മാരില്ലാതെ ശ്രാദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നു; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്ഥലജ ദ്വിജന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായാലും അവർ അശുദ്ധരായാൽ, അവന്റെ ആ കർമ്മം വ്യർത്ഥമാകുന്നു.
