tacchrutvā harṣitaḥ prāha soṃ'tyajo nṛpasattamam | tavādeśaṃ kariṣyāmi yaccha me kanyakāṃ nṛpa

Translation

ഇതു കേട്ട് ആ അന്ത്യജൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ രാജശ്രേഷ്ഠനോട് പറഞ്ഞു— ‘അങ്ങയുടെ ആജ്ഞ ഞാൻ പാലിക്കും; ഹേ നൃപാ, എനിക്ക് കന്യയെ തരിക।’
