ततः परावसुस्तेषां पुरः स्थित्वा कृतांजलिः । प्रोवाच स्वादितं मद्यं मया रात्रावजानता । वेश्या भांडं समादाय ज्ञात्वा निजकमंडलुम्
tataḥ parāvasusteṣāṃ puraḥ sthitvā kṛtāṃjaliḥ | provāca svāditaṃ madyaṃ mayā rātrāvajānatā | veśyā bhāṃḍaṃ samādāya jñātvā nijakamaṃḍalum
അപ്പോൾ പരാവസു അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ കയ്യുകൂപ്പി നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് പറഞ്ഞു— “രാത്രിയിൽ അറിയാതെ ഞാൻ മദ്യത്തെ രുചിച്ചു. ഒരു വേശ്യ ഒരു പാത്രം എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട്, അത് എന്റെ സ്വന്തം കമണ്ഡലുവെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ്…”
