यावन्तस्तंतवस्तस्य दह्यंते दीप संभवाः । मुहूर्तानि च यावंति घृतदीपश्च तिष्ठति । तावज्जन्मसहस्राणि सा स्यात्सौभाग्यभांगिनी
yāvantastaṃtavastasya dahyaṃte dīpa saṃbhavāḥ | muhūrtāni ca yāvaṃti ghṛtadīpaśca tiṣṭhati | tāvajjanmasahasrāṇi sā syātsaubhāgyabhāṃginī
ആ ദീപത്തിലെ എത്ര തിരികൾ (തന്തുകൾ) കത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നുവോ, എത്ര മുഹൂർത്തങ്ങൾ നെയ്ദീപം ജ്വലിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നതോ—അത്ര സഹസ്ര ജന്മങ്ങൾ അവൾ സൗഭാഗ്യഭാഗിനിയാകും।
