अथ तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सुराः सर्वे तथा द्विजाः । पुलस्त्यश्च शुभार्थाय स्नानार्थं प्रस्थितास्तदा । ब्रह्मणा सहिता हृष्टाः पुत्रदारसमन्विताः

atha tadvacanaṃ śrutvā surāḥ sarve tathā dvijāḥ | pulastyaśca śubhārthāya snānārthaṃ prasthitāstadā | brahmaṇā sahitā hṛṣṭāḥ putradārasamanvitāḥ

അനന്തരം ആ ഉപദേശം കേട്ട് എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും എല്ലാ ദ്വിജന്മാരും—പുലസ്ത്യനോടൊപ്പം—ശുഭലാഭത്തിനായി സ്നാനാർത്ഥം അപ്പോൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടു। ബ്രഹ്മാവിനോടൊപ്പം അവർ ഹർഷത്തോടെ, പുത്രന്മാരും ഭാര്യമാരും സഹിതം പോയി।
