अतिथिर्यस्य भग्नाशो गृहात्प्रतिनिवर्तते । स दत्त्वा दुष्कृतं तस्मै पुण्यमादाय गच्छति
atithiryasya bhagnāśo gṛhātpratinivartate | sa dattvā duṣkṛtaṃ tasmai puṇyamādāya gacchati
ആരുടെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് അതിഥി പ്രതീക്ഷഭംഗത്തോടെ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നുവോ, ആ അതിഥി തന്റെ പാപം അവനു നൽകി, ആ ഗൃഹസ്ഥന്റെ പുണ്യം എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് പോകുന്നു।
