प्रोवाच न विषादस्ते पुत्र कार्यः कथंचन । यत्सर्पत्वमनुप्राप्तः शृणुष्वात्र वचो मम
provāca na viṣādaste putra kāryaḥ kathaṃcana | yatsarpatvamanuprāptaḥ śṛṇuṣvātra vaco mama
അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“മകനേ, ഒരുവിധത്തിലും വിഷാദിക്കരുത്. നീ സർപ്പത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇവിടെ എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേൾക്കുക।”
